A walk to the summit of the Wrekin after snow fall.
A bit more snow that forecast, so I headed up the Wrekin. As suspected the falling snow kept people at bay, so onty encountered around ten people on the way up. On the way back down people had started to head up. Visibility was zero, but the quietness and snow on the ground more than made up for that.
The star of the show was most definitely the inflatable seat cushion. Amazing for keeping you warm when you stop for a quick break, which incidentally consisted of a flask of tea and some Soreen Christmas malt loaf.
