A supplemental chronicle
It has been a perfect Christmas. That's not to say it was all matching pyjamas, roaring log fires, hot chocolate, and perfectly curated Christmas music. It was a touch chaotic, I was knackered from work, the weather wasn't particularly christmassy, and it all felt a little bit last minute. But i got to spend time with family and friends. The friends that I couldn't see for various reasons, I had some meaningful communication with.
This leads nicely into my yearly theme for next year, which is of simplification and intention.
The outside temperature has been hovering at around the 0℃ mark for the past few days and it has been amazing. Relatively dry, so things have been crisp and bright. I've been seriously intentional about getting out to walk during my lunch break. Not only to get some exercise in, but also to get some daylight. Previously i have been absoltuely flattened by SAD.
I'm making the most of it while it is happened as the forecast is for rain and temps of 10℃ next week, which i'm not looking forward to.
